IC Information;
Character Name; Kili
Canon; The Hobbit
Canon Point; End of Desolation of Smaug. Kili has just been healed in Lake Town.
Age; 77, which is barely an adult in Dwarf years
House; Heimdall, Freya or Baldr (need a bit mod help here?)
Power; Energy Lending, Energy Transfer or Flight
Personality;
Kili is a young Dwarf (in Dwarf years), and he's son of Dis, younger brother of Fili and nephew of Thorin III through his mother's side, making part of the Line of Durin and third in the succession for the throne of Erebor. If Thorin or Fili were to die, he would be the heir to the Lonely Mountain. Born after Smaug took the mountain from the Dwarves, it is likely that Kili was born in the Blue Mountains, as an exile, but he grew up hearing the tales from his Uncle and the older Dwarves.
It's not know for how long he had a father, but he's not mentioned in the books or movies, and is assumed he died when Kili was young. The main fatherly figure in his life is his Uncle Thorin, whom Kili deeply respects and cares for. He is very loyal to him, and would risk his own life to protect him from harm. Thorin, for his part, is aware of how young his nephew is, and is always looking out after him during the Quest, doing his best to ensure his safety.
Kili is very close to his mother Dis. Having lost her husband and one of her brothers, her sons were the most precious persons in her life. It is unclear whether she completely agreed with her sons going off with their Uncle on a dangerous quest, but it was the boys' duty, as the heirs of Erebor. The particular closeness is shown in the second film, where Kili is seen playing with a runestone during his imprisonment in Mirkwood, where he explains how Dis gave it to him, to make him keep his promise of returning to her. In fact, the runes written on the stone read in Dwarvish language as return to me.
But undoubtedly, the most important person in Kili's life is his older brother Fili. Born only with 5 years of different, they have done everything together during most of their life and have rarely been separated from one another. Kili looks up to his older brother as a role model, and has a great admiration of him. The young Dwarf would have hardly let Fili be the only one to go on the Quest. He worries about him, and would give his life to protect him. They are so synchronized to each other, that they often know what the other is going to say and is actually able to finish his phrases.
Kili is a very friendly Dwarf, and easily trusts people, as shown with his interactions with Gandalf and Bilbo, who are not his kin, but he understands there's a reason why they are in the Quest. It's evident that Kili is dearly beloved by most of the Dwarves, who likely know him since he was a baby, and he and Fili are kindly referred to as 'the lads' by their older companions. He's often seen smiling, has a generally carefree attitude and is definitely the least serious member of Thorin's Company. But he still holds a great respect for his Uncle and the other Dwarves, especially Balin and Dwalin.
It's not known whether Kili had any dealings with Elves or Men, but he tries to show the same distrust towards them that Thorin has educated him with. However, he does have curiosity about the Elven race, which he meets for the first time in Rivendell. Later on, the she-Elf, Tauriel, saves his life in Mirkwood, and though Dwarves value in women qualities that are unlikely to be found in Elves, he seems to be interested in her. Kili knows that nothing could happen between them, and that his companions would not support such a relationship, so he has resigned himself to an unrequited love. In any case, he is probably the Dwarf with the most open mind to deal with other races.
As a young Dwarf prince, Kili was trained in different kinds of weapons, including the sword, but his weapon of choice is a bow and arrows. He is a highly skilled warrior and hunter, just like his brother, and together, they make a deadly team. Along with the battle training, Kili must have been instructed in Dwarvish lore, especially that of the Line of Durin. However, his carefree nature indicates that his education was probably not as strict as that given to his brother, who is Thorin's heir.
Like it was mentioned before, he is very skilled as a warrior, but sometimes he can be reckless and overconfident in his abilities. Thorin, Fili, and the rest of the Dwarves are usually watching out for him, to keep him safe. Even his mother knew this, which why she gave him a talisman so he would remember he promised to go back to her safely. Unfortunately, sometimes Kili overestimates his own capacity, such as when the Dwarves were escaping from Mirkwood in the barrels, and though he manages to save the day, he ends up getting gravely hurt.
Kili is a very honorable and loyal Dwarf, especially to his uncle Thorin and his brother Fili. He constantly worries about disappointing them, and most of all, his uncle, which is why he didn't want him to find out about the lost ponies at first, or why he was sad when Thorin scolded him for joking about Orcs. And even when he was wounded, his first thoughts were his duty to go on the Quest and help his uncle as much as he could.
All in all, Kili is a young, carefree and friendly character. Until he left with Thorin, it's unlikely he had seen much of the world, and thus, this Quest is something that will leave a mark on his life forever.

[Kili pokes at the screen, not yet quite realizing all of the network will see his post.]
Fili... Fili! Have you seen this thing already? Isn't it strange? It seems we can talk to each other here! Well... You ARE out there somewhere, aren't you? These gods didn't bring me here by myself... I... I don't want to be here by myself...
[He pokes at the screen again, because he heard he could look for people using the bracelet, but he has no idea how.]
If there are others seeing this... How can I look to see if a person I know is here in this world? It seems there is a list of people, but... I do not know very well how to use this thing... I... I just want to find my brother... And my uncle...
[He sighs and just keeps looking at the screen as he waits for someone to answer.]
